The architecture of high-signal research.
Data is abundant; clarity is rare. Our methodology filters environmental noise to isolate the core metrics that drive operational decisions. At Tiger Metric Research, we treat every data point as a hypothesis requiring rigorous stress testing before it earns a place in our final reports.
"Signal over volume."
Our Validation Framework
We avoid the trap of "vanity metrics." Our framework is designed to challenge the validity of incoming data at three distinct stages of the research lifecycle.
Every dataset must undergo automated outlier detection and manual edge-case review before inclusion.
Source Authentication
We do not accept anonymous aggregations. Every primary source used in our metrics is vetted for collection methodology, sample bias, and historical reliability. If a provider's collection logic is opaque, their data is discarded.
Cross-Correlation Testing
Single-source findings are treated as anecdotes. Our research requires a minimum of three independent data vectors to trend in the same direction before a signal is classified as "High Strength."
Bias Neutralization
Our internal analysts execute "Blind Interpretation" phases where outcomes are assessed without knowledge of the specific client or industry stakeholder, preventing confirmation bias in the analysis stage.
Statistical Rigor
We maintain transparency in our technical processing. Below is the technical specification for all metrics published under the Tiger Metric Research seal.
01 // Confidence Intervals
We default to a 95% confidence interval for all predictive modeling. When data density is insufficient to meet this threshold, the research is clearly flagged as "Exploratory" rather than "Definitive."
- Minimum N=500 for survey-based metrics
- Margin of error < 4% on all core indices
02 // Anomaly Detection
Automated scrubbing removes non-human traffic, bot-generated sentiment, and duplicate entries. Our proprietary "Tiger Filter" identifies inorganic spikes in activity that could distort long-term trends.
- Heuristic pattern matching
- Recursive data cleaning cycles
Continuous Oversight
Based in Sydney, our team operates at the intersection of quantitative analysis and qualitative context. We believe that metrics alone can be misleading without an understanding of the environment they were born in.
Our peer-review process ensures that no individual analyst’s bias enters the stream. Every final report is reviewed by two secondary auditors to ensure compliance with our internal quality manual (v4.2), updated for March 2026.
Institutional Standards
GDPR & APPs Alignment
All metrics are generated from anonymized or pseudonymized datasets. We maintain strict adherence to the Australian Privacy Principles and global data protection standards.
Non-Conflicting Interests
Tiger Metric Research does not accept funding from entities that would create a conflict of interest with our published findings. Our revenue is generated solely through service fees and subscription analysis.
Long-term Reproducibility
We maintain a 5-year data warehouse of all raw inputs used for historical indices, allowing for back-testing and audit-readiness at any time.
